Anambra Governor Approves New Minimum Wage

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo has approved #70,000 as a new minimum wage for workers in the state.
He announced this in a post on his official Facebook Handle on Friday, October, 25, after meeting with the State Committee on Implementation of Minimum Wage.

The Governor further noted that the approved #70,000 minimum wage is the total salary after all deductions including tax and union dues.

He also made known the approval of a monthly, non-taxable cash award of N10,000 to our pensioners in the state in addition to the retirees’ monthly pension
