IGP Vows Tough Action Against Attacks on Police Officers

The Inspector-General of Police, *Kayode Egbetokun*, has vowed to take decisive action against anyone who assaults or kills police personnel.

Speaking in Enugu on Friday during a two-day working visit, Egbetokun declared that attacks on officers would no longer be tolerated, emphasizing that any assault on a policeman is an assault on him.

He assured officers of increased training and retraining programs in 2025 to enhance professionalism, discipline, and competence.
