Reports say Boko Haram terrorists last Sunday slaughtered over forty farmers in Borno State while some people are still missing

Report say Members of Boko Haram terrorists have slaughtered over 40 people in a vicious attack on the Dumba community in Kukawa LGA of Borno State.

 

The criminal elements reportedly launched the attack around 4:30pm on Sunday, leaving the community on edge.

 

In addition to the confirmed deaths, scores of farmers remain unaccounted for and are believed to have been kidnapped by the terrorists.

 

The attack has heightened tension over the persistent security challenges in the region.

 

The Borno State Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, who confirmed the incident, expressed condolences to affected families adding that investigation has commenced on the matter.
